Once we found these guys, they moved around the pond letting us take pics for about 30 minutes. It was a good day. dave.

A super catch - by you. I know how difficult this must have been to see and photograph. You probably shot a burst, but it still takes a great deal of timing. Jim

Thanks guys. We've known about this guys being in the area for 2 years. We've, (my wife and I) have seen them a few times, pretty much after dark with no real chance at a photo. Yesterday they screwed up and came out mid afternoon while I was standing next to their den. I'm hoping to see them many more times through the summer. davev

Very nice Dave, exactly what I was wanting. If it's special to you its special to me. I was out the other day at a park with 2 camera bodies hoping to shoot the water lilies which were not up yet. Anyway a blue heron flew by and I was trying to track and shoot him with the 50d and 70-200. Now I remember why I shouldn't shoot BIF, it looked like KRAP. Come to think about it the entire folder is going to into the trash. I was having a off day. Paul
