I took a look at a wider angle shot of him and his epaulets were green which makes him a Venture scout. His troop numbers are 218 and I used to be the commissioner for that troop. At that time they didn't have a venture crew so they added the crew since I stepped away from the commissioner staff in 2008.

I think the colors are remarkably good...spot on to me. Best Wishes, Traveller

LOL. Taking advantage of me now since I don't get here very often and I have to beg for a bit of computer time. You do walk on the thin line; and enjoy it. ;-)
BTW, a "Boy Scout", or an Explorer who I might consider a "young Man".

Anyway - the face is mostly hidden, and the "rule of thirds" puts a line through the hands and the soldering equipment and the device he is soldering - so I believe it fits.

I should add that most of the boys start acting like a photo ham when I come in to capture some hands on action. This guy didn't even flinch for a second and stayed on track to finish soldering his project.

Do the colors look right?? The lights in those rooms is horrible and takes a ton of PP work to get them close. If I remember correctly I was shooting at 3200 ISO with fill flash.

Just having a little fun with the current challenge CEO......

I've been involved with the BSA for years and years even though officially I'm no longer a member the merit badge forum director asks me back to photograph this annual event for him. We use a handful of the images to create a personalized certificate of thanks to all the counclers. Paul.

I like your little play on words there....I am so out of touch I forget that BSA even exists...looks like a nice young man thought. Which is always good to see. Traveller
