Thanks a lot, K, for the update: I find *all* that sort of information always interesting: the photographically technical part anyway (it's a photographers' Challenge; isn't it?), but also the background of what one sees in a picture, especially when it was obviously taken in a—for me—«exotic» place... ~ db.
Daniel, thank you very much for the kind words. This is view on Hong Kong Island. I am not quite sure why I have had this exposure, definitely I wanted to capture the moving boat (and it has been moving quite fast), what about f/4 - may be I have forgotten to change it after previous shot :-) ? In any case I was pleasant surprised that the both for- and background are quite sharp, not really to expect by this aperture, doesn't it? PS. Lenses updated. K
Welcome back to the Challenge(s), Konstantin! A nice image, indeed, as we have come to expect from you. Do you mind telling us what where you took this image and what we see (and to add the lens you used)? BTW: amazing sharpness in fore as well as background when shooting at f/4; but why did you use ISO 800 and 1/1000s?? ~ db.
