Thanks, Jim! I haven't used Capture One in years, but I use the brightness, shadows and highlights sliders in Lightroom frequently. The luminosity masks give somewhat better control, including letting you apply adjustments to only portions of the image as well as globally. You do, however, have to be careful or you can overdo it and cause the image to look ... well, odd. - Ken

Yes, Paul. I can see Forrest running down this road! :-) - Ken

Both a great capture for the composition, and the post processing gives an almost hdr look.
I like it.
Re luminosity masks - almost sounds a bit like Capture One' brightness, shadows, and highlights sliders.

If the signs were cloned out I'd say "Run Forrest Run"! Paul

Thanks, Traveller! I played around a little bit in Photoshop with luminosity masks, where you use various masks to adjust highlights, shadows and mid tones separately, a technique I'm still trying to learn. If you're not familiar with luminosity masks, do a search for Tony Kuper, he has some tutorials on his website. - Ken

Lovely shot, really, the stop sign, the smoke curling...and I do like the treatment...what did you do in Photoshop? Traveller
