April of last year Paul A

Orion's-Belt

Powel Observatory Louisburg Ks.

A jet passed by as I was photographing Orion.
And minutes later the dew point hit so I packed up and went home.

I think this is a passenger jet that just departed from Kansas City International airport (MCI) about 45 miles to the north. The yellow lights are his landing/departure lights and the red dots of course would be his belly strobe. Just a few frames and 30 seconds later he turned off his departure lights. Paul

That's an interesting effect Paul, especially the red dots between the lines from the strobe. Regards, Michael
