It's a grizzly and he's just letting you know you are in his territory.

Well he appears to be a brown bear so getting closer, atleast in the Sierra's isn't dangerous, they are actually really sweet animals. But I wouldn't hop a fence for a grizzly, lol, I think that's pretty obvious.

Well I didn't think anyone would be interested in the part where I jumped over the fence to get closer. All I was doing was shooting the rocks......... P.A.

Paul, and I thought I was crazy....what is the story here? Really!?!

And you shot this with a 17~40?????????

Did your wife ever forgive you?

Seriously, I would have been gone so fast...carefully, quietly, but with a purposeful hast to be certain...not looking back for 19 miles...

Best Wishes, Nick

There is no bear in this image, this is all about the rocks. Of all places, this was taken at the Seattle zoo.

I think this imaginary bear had mental issues because he kept climbing up the rocks swing his head around and roaring in the exact spot and angle. He did that about 5 times while I stood there shooting him. Paul

Beautiful bear, where was this taken?

Nice treatment....kinda hard to ignore the bear....but the moss on the rocks are nice.
