My wife just told me that this is a fruit of a species of arum (I never would have known this), a poisonous plant. I hope nobody did eat the missing berries. Nicely done. -Gerald
Looks a bit like a piece of hard candy of the type I (vaguely) remember from my youth, when my father was stationed in Germany. It was a favorite treat, though I am thinking I might not like to try this one. LOL. Good job.
