Celebrating the Intakin festival for prosperity with flowers and candles at the start of the rainy season in Chiang Mia.
This image (and the two others posted in Exhibition) was the result of around 700 attempts at zooming during exposure (with the 16-35mm f/2,8). It was very much a learning exercise and by chimping I began to realise the trick was to keep the subject centred, zoom quickly, while trying to keep the hand held camera steady. 6 of the 700 shots achieved this! I really could have done with a flash to freeze the subject but didn't bring one on this trip so had to use persistence!
