Well, with abstract art, the question is, and always has been, what do you as the viewer bring to the experience of witnessing the expression of art from the artist? Not everyone likes abstract art....at all.

I shot lots of Crayon shots...like other people...but I threw it all away and decided to go in a different direction...there is a three Dimensional aspect to the center of the image...it does not look flat like most photographs...I bootstrapped that into...what we have now.

You are free not to like it....but it is....nevertheless....my Artistic Expression.

Best Wishes, Traveller

Trav, I'm sorry but I can not say that I like this so much. I think the picture should be a kind of self explanatory and the viewers should not refer to the attached explanation to understand what is the picture about. But this is just my opinion. This is may be a great abstract but I'm not sure that the pictures is as great as well ..

Makes for a great abstract, thanks for the explanation.

I have not tried this because I actually graduated to ball-point pens some years ago... :-)

Wonderful abstract - love the blocks of primary colors and the bold outlines.

I love this! It almost looks like negative space to me. And I like it even more now that I know how you did it. The colors are wonderful and the composition is perfect. Good experimenting, Traveller! ~Sharon
