Pops' Morning After

In my family we have a tradtion at Christmas, my oldest son gives a bottle of Dom Perignon to his grandmother. We all enjoy a glass. I've saved many corks.

In celebration of my younger son's marrigage, our youngest daughter gave the happy couple a bottle of Cristal. Alas, I did not get a taste when they opened it on their first anniversary. I did get the cork.

This photograph was shot in a darkend room and the single flashlight was kept very low to the table top to avoid lighting the table.

Very nicely done Pops. Lots of memories in those corks. I think you've done a great job conveying that in this image.

Nice Pops, I too like using minimal lighting at times. It forces one to pay attention to detail in order to produce the image desired.

I like the detail and the mood captured here. (... and I can actually get the count right this time...10 ... right? (5X2 )... lol)

Dom I can vouch for but not had the pleasure of Cristal :-)

Regards Bob

Great! I do like the lighting setup.

Pops, this one is excellent - as is the one in Exhibition. I prefer the one in Exhibition though. For some reason, I would describe the lighting and the "mood" there as more elegant/classy. This is highly subjective, I know, and I am sure others could have a different view. Regards Nico
