`Round Lunch Time, Spring, Paris, 2010

I have so many rounds to choose from...but fun is always good. Parenthetically, I have been told it was a mortal sin to insist that I eat in Paris for less than 10Euros per day...but we all have to set challenges for ourselves and, except for one day when I went mad for pastries...I was good to my goal.

Simple foods are often the most comforting. A great shot for a scrapbook of your adventures. Getting one shot of every meal :)
There's a nice color palette and balance to the composition. I like this!

Thanks - as always - for your posts. We love the stories, the backgrounds, the titles, the explanations... Your contributions are always a delight and the challenges would be poorer if you were not around! Thanks.

Thank you Michael...but who would know or guess that a wonderful almost milk bottle of peach puree, yummy too(!), would be less expensive than a bottle of Coke?

Sitting of that park bench a few blocks from the Shadow of Notre Dame, away from the tourist crowds, 3 little old ladies well dressed joined me, gave me a banana for desert and I opened their bottles of water because their arthritis had twisted their hands beyond this task....

Seriously, I can afford to eat where I might wish, (within reason), but I would have lost this special, special moment...

Hey, it's life. And French Mustard really is Hot....lol

Thanks again, Traveller

I should have added that this image immediately brought to mind Edward Hopper's diner painting, that might help set the stage for my previous comment. -Michael

"so many rounds to choose from"...that gave me a big smile. I find this a subtly complex image, a modern still life in subject but reminiscent of an earlier age in its classical structure and sensibilities. Really nicely done. -Michael
