Cook penne according to the packet directions, drain, reserving some of the cooking water. Meanwhile cook fresh peas in salted water
for about 5-6 minutes, throwing in chopped cooked ham half way through. Drain and return to the pan, stir in several good Tbs of pesto
and the cooked penne, along with some of the cooking water if required, to coat everything with a nice thick sauce. Serve with shaved
parmesan, garnished with a spring of fresh basil.
