The only production car manufacturer on the Isle of Man. The fibreglass single-seat P.50 weighed just 130 lbs, the equivalent of about 60 bags of sugar.
Access was through a single door on the nearside, and a lever beside the driver started its 49cc DKW motorcycle engine. With no reverse gear, turning the
car was facilitated with a grab handle at the rear. There were no indicators, so hand signals were required through both windows.
The makers claimed: “Parking problems solved, armchair seating, saloon car protection, lively performance, powerful braking, ample parcel space”.
