Church of Elijah the Prophet. Built 1647-1650. The interior is lavishly decorated with frescoes
commissioned in 1680, and painted by a team of 15, depicting the life of Elijah and domestic life
in 17th century Russia. Considered to be a masterpiece of ancient Russian art.
