Svolvær

Fish racks. All around Svolvær harbour were these racks of drying fish, usually cod, to produce
stockfish. The process of drying fish is one of the oldest methods of preservation, and dried fish
has a storage life of several years. Stockfish is Norway’s longest sustained export commodity, and
dates back to the Viking Age.

Truly intersting shot. Thanks for explaining what we're seeing. Seeing the bird makes me wonder how they keep the birds from eating their fish while they dry.
