This impressive room was the stage of the old Municipal Theatre which now houses the Dali Museum.
The roof is capped by a geodesic cupola seen in an earlier image. In the central archway at the
far end is one of Dali's optical illusions, a painting of his beloved Gala, entitled
"Gala nude looking at the sea which at 18 metres appears as President Lincoln".
(This image was taken at a distance of 18 metres from the picture. The spot was marked on the floor!)
