Elevation 1330m. Rogers Pass is in the heart of Glacier National Park, through the
Selkirk Mountains. It was discovered in the 1870s by Albert Bowman Rogers, a surveyor
with the Canadian Pacific Railway.
This image was taken in the Visitor Centre. The Pass is known for its winter snowfall,
which amounts to about 10m per year. Quite a bit was still there in April!
