Period apparel re-enactment of the original Golden Spike Ceremony at the completion of the first Transcontinental Railroad in America commemorating the 145th anniversary observance on May 10, 1869 at Promontory Point, Utah. For the first time in 145 years, the Golden Spike Ceremony re-enactment included Chinese representation in period clothes to recognize the 12,000 Chinese laborers who worked on the transcontinental but were never recognized or included in the original historical photograph.
