Lilacs after Rain

Lilac Arboretum, Ewing Park, Des Moines, Iowa

In Des Moines, we have a very special place called the Lilac Arboretum. It is a Spring rite of passage to walk around the hundreds of lilac trees here. Everything is really beautiful right after a rain.
