Famous racehorse Phar Lap with some young admirers. Phar Lap is an Australian icon
and treasure. The big chestnut Thoroughbred gelding captured the hearts of a nation
(and the world). He now resides in the Museum in Melbourne, where he continues to
attract visitors and admirers from all over the world, and of all ages. I daresay
he is the Museum's most popular exhibit.
