Crossing point

Don't quote me on the dates but the bridge on the left carries the present road and is from around 1700 the one on the right is now just a dirt track but did carry the original road to the old Abbey which dates from around 1147, I would call them old and new but 1700's isn't really that new. This shot was taken for the Juxtaposition challenge, You can see both bridges on the shot below but not as well.

1700's in the US would be considered ancient.
