Differences

I always have inhibitions to take photos in a cemetery, but the bouquets of plastic flowers on some graves fascinate me.
I know it is based on different cultural and religious interpretations and differences
and the distinction in values of these symbols.
For example, my cultural heritage attaches importance to fresh bouquets of flowers.
I never dared to take a picture of them, now I did.

I documented an entire funeral once ---- from church service to cemetery. It was a very moving experience and I had no wierd feelings about it. You did well with this shot, going outside your comfort zone ...... a very attractive sense of perspective.

You captured a truly beautiful and colorful image stepping out of your comfort zone. Love this.

Nice perspective and touch of color in this sad environment.

as this opened I thought it was marble counter and a mirror image! the shiney surface is so pretty (and wouldn't last a half hour here in our dust) The headstones are not engraved or on the other side perhaps?

I find it interesting that there are no names engraved..that´s different!

I can understand the feeling you describe, but you managed a great shot.

This is a fine shot with great clarity. But I don´t know why, somehow a cemetery is simply not a place to take captures for me.

It is a strange feeling. I have had friends ask me to document funerals and burials and I always feel a little weird.
