Pig day

Melbourne, Australia

Although celebrated in March I couldn't resist to put the picture I took of mother pig yesterday in this awareness gallery.
Pigs should have the right to live in a muddy paddock.
And she has such beautiful eye-lashes.

The purpose of Pig Day is "to accord the pig its rightful,
though generally unrecognized, place as one of man's most intellectual and domesticated animals”

Pig in the mud where they love to lie. I think he's adorable. And yes, they are very intelligent. This is a fantastic photo of this happy hog. :) V.
