19 Emperor Moth

Melbourne, Australia

In a field with tall grass were swarming around thousands of emperor moths,
the rainfall was probably an incentive to reveal themselves.
The dry gum leaves are from a a broken branch, which is a natural food for the landscape, but prone to bush fires.

Those gumleaves sure look dry. I believe you've had a lot of locusts appear too. Has your rain all gone? We're in the middle of a very wet week too.
