25 Abanico

Art

Delicacy, Return to Beauty and Surrender, white marble by Jane Valetine, an Australian sculpturist.

I read an interesting story about fans or abanico's.

“Beside a well one does not thirst, beside a sister, one does not despair” Nushu script.
Nüshu: literally "women's script" is a script in Hunan Province in China was used by women.
Women were not supposed to learn to write, and therefore developed their own writing,
they taught this script in secret to each other.
They often used silk fans to share their writings with each other.

that's a tremendous work... is it meant to be broken or is this by accident?

I guessed they were fans - but never realised that they were this large or made from marble - good one...

I was right in my guess it was a fan, but did not expect this size, nor multiple fans. Great job with this series to keep us guessing.
