It must have been the winter rain that suddenly this grevillia tree started to grow and producing a lot of flowers.
If you look good then you can see the glittering nectar.
Grevillia flowers were a traditional favourite among Aborigines for their sweet nectar.
This could be shaken onto the hand to enjoy, or into a coolamon with a little water to make a sweet drink.
