13 Quadrifidus

Melbourne, Australia view map

Another amazing plant from the Esparance region in West-Australia, which I geotagged
the Calothamnus quadrifidus
The honeyeating birds are greatly attracted to this shrub and are constantly moving from flower to flower,
whilst small insectivorous species scramble through the thickets in search of invertebrates.

Found this specie also in the Australia GArden

Verbazingwekkend toch, hoe anders de flora bij jullie is dan hier.
Fraai hoor.

Wow, you really have the most unusual flowers and they are just to die for. I remember some when I was there but don't remember seeing this one. A beauty!
