In my search for some documents I found this little purse with content.
It belonged to my grandmother Aaltje.
I think she saved these coins in the belief that poverty will stay away as long as you have some cents to spare.
Some of the coins are from 1948 with Queen Wilhelmina on it.
She abdicated in that year in favour of her daughter Queen Juliana.
The value of this cent is now € 1,--.
