It is only history now this Palast der Republik (20 000 Tons of Steal, 56 000 Tons of Concrete , 500 Tons of Glass). Last week of November 2008 all what was left of the Palast was a desert like landscape. In 2010 they will start to build on this spot the Berliner Schloss Palast.
