The Temple of Forgiveness

Unfortunately I didn't totally enjoy Burning Man this year. It wasn't the dust storms or
sleep deprivation, it was some of the people who attended.

This is the temple and a place of solemn reflection. When the whiskey voiced woman in
the art car on the right started braying for a beer, I started to develope an attitude.

It was downhill from there...a disregard for the Leave No Trace ethic and the general FratBoy mentality is becoming prevalent.

Don't get me wrong, I loved our camp and we met a lot of fantastic people but things seem to be changing for the worst. I hope I'm wrong, I love Burning Man.

Beautiful shot. The Frat Boy mentality saturated the Burning Man 2007 event. It felt like a off-campus Rave party 24 hours a day. I hope you're wrong too. This was my first time at the event and It's sad to think the original intent of the festival has been redirected.

An article in the Democrat said that the attendance was 23% higher than last year. You always get people that don't appreciate the intentions of an event when the increase is that high. Chanches are that it will be their first and first and last time attending.
