Mt. Lassen

We went on a drive today.
We headed up above our town to go to Philbrook Lake.
This is one of the views of Mt. Lassen. What is amazing about this shot is that
the area framed between the two trees is what's left of the volcano, aka Mt. Lassen.
Consider that it once came to a point and how huge it must have been before it blew its top.

Super landscape with those magnificent mountains in the background. Plus you've solved the problem I always have with landscapes. A point of interest to set them off. The two trees framing it solve that. I really like it that you can even see the pinecones on the one.
