Paris has many of these great old covered passages from the 18th and early 19th century.
I was suppose to have a guide to take me around them, but she got sick, so I had to go
in search of them by myself. I only got to two of them. This one dates back to the 1800s
but was refurbished in 2012 to improve the glass roof. For awhile these passages fell out
of favor, but now they are filled with shops and restaurants and are a charming place to wander.
