I was visited by a delegation of the committee of geese.
I saw the geese parading single file up the lane down the road. And when they reached the road they turned and marched in my direction, cutting across lots coming toward me. I took pictures of their progress.

Like a parade of soldiers they marched into my yard gathering around the the garden.
The leader seemed to be at the rear.
After delivering his silent message, while looking at me long and hard, they filed back in the same order, taking the same route from which they came.
The message was for my grandson. "There will be no hunting on the pond."
