Every night when I turn off the television she's waiting by the doorway.
Then she leads the way to the bathroom
where she waits outside the door while I go inside. She won't come in until I close the door, though not tight or she'll scratch at it and meow, so I push it to.
A few minutes later the door bursts open and she saunters in like an FBI agent. Stopping long enough to quickly glance behind the door as if to make sure there aren't any undesirables back there.
Satisfied there isn't she proceeds on to check out the rest of the rather large room. Finished she waits by the door until I'm ready to leave.
After I open the door she stands in the doorway and looks both ways then deciding the coast is clear then glances back at me over her shoulder as if it's okay to follower her to the feeding station where she starts to eat. I pet her and tell her good-night. And that's it. We go through this ritual every night and if something disturbs the routine she gets very upset. Zippy's very good at getting her point across. She's definitely a study in cats. I think she missed her calling she should have lived at the White House.
