Yosemite Falls is the seventh tallest
waterfall in the world, plunging 2,425 feet
from the Valley wall to the Valley floor.
The Upper Yosemite Falls, seen here, drops
1430 feet. The water is fed from snowmelt
in Yosemite's High Country (Sierra Nevada).
