This is one of the many exhibition rooms in the Pitti Palace,
which also has a silver museum, with household objects from the Medici family.
A porcelain museum, and costume museum are in separate galleries on the property

The room shown here is one of the many exhibition rooms in the Palatine Gallery on
the second level of the Pitti Palace, the rooms most often visited;
The Palatine Gallery contains a large collection of paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries,
including major works by such artists as Titian and Raphael.
Also this level of the Pitti Palace houses the Royal Apartments, a seemingly endless corridor of rooms
with many original furnishings.

The third floor houses a collection of modern works of art, mostly from Tuscan artists from the 19th and 20th centuries.

All of these galleries can be seen, most with separate tickets for each area.
There is also a small place for light snacks, should the Pitti Palace overwhelm you with its vast and interesting collections.
