This is one of my favorites. To me I see a very emotional scene, hence why I named it "H0LD ON TIL THE VERY END"
These two stumps were on the shore of a mountain lake. I wished I had taken a hundred of shots of this from many angles. I see two old stumps grasping to hold on to each other and gasping for their last breath while digging into the soil and each other. I don't know how long they were at the edge of the shore and how they came to be attached, whether from the begining or within time knocked over, blown around, drowned and shifted by the ice to become melded into each other as time drifted by.
