The Railway Station of Kuala Lumpur is embellished with many spires and turrets that serve no purpose. (Also see my previous pic) An architect once told me that many of the arches, designs and proportions that the British designer made for this building were technically incorrect and non-existent in islamic architecture. This one looks like a minaret but does not function as one. However, It does offer a beautiful point of view for the moon in the sky!
