This elderly man spent much of his time at the Cheng Hoon Teng Temple folding joss paper which are traditionally burned during deity or ancestral worship. Next to him (not featured here) was a plastic bag containing many of the joss paper he had already folded. It must have taken him some time because he was very slow and careful, making sure each piece of paper was folded with precision. You can see the intensity of his concentration and dedication in his hands and face.
