I feel safer just looking at these guys...

Very nice representatives of Los Angeles City Fire
Department.. on the left is Mike and Christian on the right,
by the fence....

I tried so many times to get a decent shot of these two..
I had no tripod with me, and at night, hand held.. I was
delighted with the clarity and detail of this image.

giggle..so, you're telling me to kneel at the feet of these heros?? Is that what you wrote? I would gladly do that. To me, and so many others, the Firefighters are owed a great deal. As I'm short, I think next time, I will just not stand on higher ground when shooting these two.. Hopefully there will be no next time ...

come tighter on this one, crop on the photo left; less space on the top, make the subjects more dominant in the frame. For future reference, a low composition on these two, ie, you kneeling down and shooting up, this makes the subjects seem larger, more prominent, more important. :)
