From Jagdalpur I returned to Kolkata (via Vizag) for three days before flying home and stayed at Hotel Gulshan International, which I'd found in my guidebook. (The only international thing about it is the fact that I was staying there.) It's a decent mid-range hotel and well located, close to Park Street. Just choose your own taxi when you leave; otherwise the manager and other staff will want a cut of your fare to the airport.
