Harvestman spider - Phalangiids

It looks like Autumn has arrived, weve had rain most the day,so here's a pik I took of the many harvestman spiders we have around the fields and bungalow.
One of these spiders behavior to scare off predators is to bound like mad, quite comical really, wish I had videoed this one!

Fabulous shot Carole. I just love these guys, they are absolutely fascinating. Very difficult to get photos that do them justice, but these are gorgeous - you caught him just in the right place.

Yekes, that's what I don't like about this time of year, found some huge ones in the house already. He/she looks nice on that flower though. Very brave of you to go this close ;-)
