I've had lots of bluebirds around my yard, but this year they have taken an active interest in the nest boxes. I have at least ten boxes around my 2 acres. On this morning, I was down by the creek looking for birds with my long lens, when I heard the bluebirds. I went to check it out and there they both were checking out this box. Several days later, I opened the box and found four eggs. I opened the box after dark tonight and shone in my flashlight to see her sitting on the eggs. What fun! I can't wait for the eggs to hatch. There should be lots of activity to photograph.
