Former Philippine president Corazon Cojuangco Aquino (1933-2009) passed away at exactly 3:18am last August 1, 2009
of cardiac arrest due to complications from a long difficult bout with colon cancer.

"This simple woman who became a President by fate and not by ambition ... the only speaker who had the longest standing ovation
by the U.S. Congress ... the only woman who led her people to win a peaceful revolution with nothing but faith in God:
former Philippine President Corazon "Cory" Cojuangco Aquino - the Mother of Democracy & Light of Our Nation ..."

Thank you for restoring Hope, Faith, and Democracy back to our land.
May you finally rest in peace and your legacy live on forever ...!
