I'll start this gallery with the National Shrine & Parish of Our Lady of Fatima. Back in the early 90's I remember being disappointed that
this unique church was NOT included in the nationwide pilgrimage churches in the official road map/book published by the government
(in fact it did not seem to be mentioned in the map at all!). To add insult to injury, around that time the International Pilgrim Image
(IPI) of Our Lady of Fatima (from Fatima, Portugal?) toured the Philippines and was displayed in chosen churches around
the country EXCEPT in the National Shrine dedicated to her (it finally did years later when it returned in 1996)! :-(

That's why before I left the Parish Commission on Media due to school and work constraints my main thrust was to promote this church
as a pilgrimage/tourist spot. I'm glad that those who came after me - particulary through the invaluable input and
hard work given by Mang Epi Galinato and others after him - helped make this become a gradual reality.
