Date of birth: September 23, 1948.
Date ordained: December 10, 1972.
Date of death: February 23, 2009.

Rector and Parish Priest (2001-2009) - National Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Fatima, Valenzuela City;
Chancellor - the Diocese of Malolos (Bulacan province).

It's been a busy if hectic week lately. Images and write up worthy of one - whom we parishoners fondly call "Monsi"
and "Moi" (pronounced 'Mhoy') to fellow clergy - will be posted as soon as possible ...

napakasayang sariwain ang nakaraan at ang mga magagandang pinagsamahan ng mga taong tunay na may ipinapagsama. ang isang pagsasama ay napakahirap kalimutan lalo pa kung ang taong lumisan sa mundo ay hindi na nalayo. ang aking salitang masasabi para kay Mons. Moi ay "Paalam at Salamat..." Paalam... sapagkat ito ang tunay na paglisan sa mundong ibabaw na siya namang magiging simula ng ating tunay na buhay. Salamat... dahil wala man tayong maipapabaon sa taong lumisan sapagkat sa kabilang buhay, tanto n'yang siya ay kinilala sa kanyang kabutihan at karunungan. Mons. Moi... Such a sad loss to you all. You have recorded his passing in a very fitting manner which shows the depth of the love which you all had for him. He will be forever in your hearts.

There had been some minor debate yesterday about the year of birth: a toss up between the date as indicated in the handout memorablia distributed by Fr. Vic and that as indicated in the interment details provided by Funeraria Araniego. The data from the latter I believe is the most credible since Monsi's immediate family would have provided the funeral parlor with such details. Thanx for your comment and observation, Bro. Jose!
