When comparing all the places we used to live, Simon revealed he used to live on this barge for many years, moored in, errr, Hanwell. To say I almost fell off my chair would be an exaggeration, but let's say a fair bit of coffee was spilt. So I made him dig out this shot, which shows his home being transferred from the Netherlands, going under the Medway Bridge.

Apparantly, taking a flat-bottomed boat into the sea is kinda fun... and very very bumpy. Also, you want to mind those big cargo ships and their wake. I'd get dea sick in a teacup, so I dare not even imagine it!
