Bob Kipp's "stable"

Portland, OR

Bob is another 'northwest builder' that we see at many area shows. To the left is Bob's current 'ambitious project, another 3 cylinder Fairbanks. It is getting close to the running stage. The next engine is an Associated air cooled, the big green one is a Fairbanks Morse, type N, model of a 25 hp (Tom Stuart castings), the next one is called a "Victorian Engine" and is built from plans only (no castings) as published in Home Shop Machinist. The next engine is a model of a 1904, 2 1/2 hp vertical Domestic (Bob Herder castings), and the last one is a horizontal Domestic Stovepipe engine, with castings from Dick Shelly in PA.
