The view from our XC skiing adventure

Spent the day Cross-Country Skiing at Badger Pass in Yosemite NP.

We got this view by accident as we were quite lost in the forest as the trail markers
quickly disappeared. A bit tiring as we went up and down the hills trying to
find the correct trail. I finally had to resort to using my GPS receiver to determine the
correct direction back to the ski resort.

So it truly was quite an adventure.

beautiful shot! lucky you had your gps with you. reminds me of a trip I had to the Rockies a few years ago when the wife persuaded me to try snowshoeing... I fell headlong soooo many times and ended up looking like the "abominable snowman". ;-)
