Did a 12 mile hike today at Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve, near the town of Los Gatos.
Started the hike in the clouds, which made the trails a bit soggy. Lots of water was rushing
down the creeks. As we reached the top of the ridge, the blue skies opened up.
Fabulous views of the Santa Clara valley as we decended from the ridge.
This is a view of Mt. Umunhum. The square building at the top is an abondoned radar station
which is closed to the public due to environment concerns and private property access.
